Attention Parents and
Grandparents: The Spring Show, starring the students in K, 5th,
6th, and 8th grades, is scheduled for
Thursday, April 10, 2008. We are looking for volunteers who would
like to share their time and/or talents with the students to help
make our show a success. If you are interested, please contact Mrs.

Music
Department Third Quarter News:

Our High School Contemporary
Band “Good News” will be playing at the Catholic School’s Week
Mass Sunday, Jan. 27th at 11:30 a.m.

We have many students
performing for Family Fun Night “Around the World” in the music
department. Singing, Dancing, and instruments will make for an
enjoyable evening. Please stop by and check them out!

Our eighth grade will be
researching and performing songs from different styles of music.
Rock, Country, Jazz and more are some of the examples of musical
styles they will be researching. Their projects will be on display
during Catholic School’s Week.

Our fourth graders are
researching a music project called “Music Around the World” to tie
in with Family Fun Night. They will be exploring and traveling to
different countries as they learn about their cultures, music, and
celebrations.

All the students will be
learning a song in our Gather Books in Spanish for Catholic
School’s Week mass. “Lord, When You Came” or “Pescador de Hombres”
is page 696 in the Gather Book.

Our second grade will be taking
their annual Music Hall field trip Wednesday, Feb. 13th
to hear the world famous Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
