ATTENTION
EIGHTH GRADE PARENTS:
It would be helpful if you would let the school office know, in writing,
if/when your son or daughter is offered a scholarship of any kind to a
high school. We are pleased to hear of the successes of our students
and would like to be able to make this information known. If you choose
that we not publicize this information, simply indicate that concern
when you write. If you prefer, please send an e-mail to
corey@saintantoninus.org or Mrs. Bepler, School Secretary,
bepler@saintantoninus.org.

VOLUNTEERS
NEEDED AT WEEKEND MASSES!
Bigg's generously donates 6% of all Bigg's
gift cards
the parish sells. The
gift cards
are sold before and after all weekend Masses by volunteers. Volunteers
commit to selling the Bigg's
gift cards
at one Mass each month. We are in the process of putting together our
2008 schedule of volunteers, and we need volunteers to cover the
following Masses each month: 4:30 Mass on the 1st, 3rd,
or 4th weekends of every month; 8:00 Mass on the 4th
Sunday of every month; and 11:30 Mass on the 1st or 3rd
Sunday of every month. Volunteers arrive about 15 minutes before Mass
begins, and stay after Mass about 15 minutes. If you can take one of
these open volunteer spots, please call Carol Jacob at 451-1344 or
e-mail her at
carolajacob@fuse.net.

COM'N
KIDS...AND PARENTS TO THE ST. ANTONINUS SKATING PARTY.
Monday, January 21, 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Western Rollerama. The cost
is $4.50 and includes Skate rental. Skating is a great way to work off
those holiday pounds...a 150-pound person who roller skates for an hour
can burn at least 600 calories, according to the American College of
Sports Medicine, and this month parents can skate for half price---just
$2.25.
5. THANK
YOU! Many
thanks to all who donated gifts and other items for the annual nursing
home visit. It was a great success and the residents and staff were
very gracious. It was wonderful to spread Christmas cheer. Thanks
again to everyone!
