Just a reminder to all of our January customers that pick up will be
this Tuesday, January 22, from 7-8 p.m. in the school lunch room.

FAMILY
FUN NIGHT.
Please join us on Tuesday, January 29, from 6:30-8 p.m. for the fourth
annual PTO-Sponsored Family Fun Night. This year is a geography-based
night called "Around the World." Come and enjoy time with your
children, sample foods, do crafts, and play games. Entrance will be
through the Gym Doors on the side of the School. Any questions, please
call Patti Brunst, Coordinator (451-7652 - evenings).

FUN NIGHT PERFORMANCE.
Any student interested in performing for Family Fun Night will need to
see Mrs. Milano by Tuesday, January 22, to get added to the evening’s
line-up.

BOX
TOPS FOR EDUCATION FALL/WINTER CONTEST.
This contest will be ending January 31 so get your sheets in soon!!
Just tape or paste collected Box Tops only (NOT Campbells or Tyson) on
the Fall/Winter Contest Form (included in this envelope) and send in the
completed sheets to school. Each completed sheet is worth $2 for St. A
PTO. The family turning in the most money will receive a $30 Kroger
Gift Card. There will also be a random drawing to win a Box Tops basket
of groceries worth $25 which will be located soon at the front office.
Both winners will be announced during the morning announcements on 2/5.
Get your kids involved!! The more sheets turned in, the more
opportunity to win the basket and the most collected. If you need more
sheets, please copy the enclosed form, go to the St. A. website, or
e-mail a request to staboxtops@yahoo.com or call Cathy Neville. PLEASE

5. MUSIC
NEWS.
This week’s “Shining Star” award goes to … Abby W. Abby is a fourth
grader in Miss Cassidy’s homeroom. Abby’s favorite song is “Master in
this Hall” and favorite singer is Blake. Her favorite movie is “Shrek
3” and favorite TV show is American Idol. Abby has played the clarinet
for two years and is in the St. A. band. Great job Abby!

SPRING
SHOW.
The Spring Show stars the students in K, 5th, 6th, and 8th Grades.
Attention Parents and Grandparents: The Spring Show is scheduled for
Thursday, April 10, 2008. We are looking for volunteers who would like
to share their time and/or talents with the students to help make our
show a success. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Milano at
922-2500 or milano@saintantoninus.org. We are looking for all kinds of
volunteers, so feel free to join even if you think you don’t have any
talents!

BOYS VOLLEYBALL.
Boys in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th
grade who would like to play volleyball this year should e-mail Scott

A GIRL SCOUT FATHER/DAUGHTER SQUARE DANCE.
Will be held in the undercroft on Saturday, January 26, from 7-9 p.m.
(doors open at 6:45 p.m.). The cost is $5.00 at the door for scouts;
dads are free.

WEEKLY WHITE ENVELOPES.
Lost weekly white envelopes can be replaced at a cost of $1.00 (due to
the expense of the envelopes). Please see Mrs. Bepler in the School
Office.

& FOUND.
Lost & Found bin for large items is located in the Cafeteria. Lost
small items (jewelry, watches, etc.) are in the School Office. Mrs.
Bepler would love to reunite these items with their owners. Please stop
by if you are missing an item.
11. TAP
APPLICATIONS.
Tuition Assistance Applications are available for families having
financial hardship this current 07-08 school year. In-parish school
families with children in grades 1-8 may apply for assistance to offset
part of their tuition. Applications must be received in the school or
parish office by Thursday, January 31, 2008. Awards will be made in
early February.
12. ATTENTION
EIGHTH GRADE PARENTS:
It would be helpful if you would let the school office know, in writing,
if/when your son or daughter is offered a scholarship of any kind to a
high school. We are pleased to hear of the successes of our students
and would like to be able to make this information known. If you choose
that we not publicize this information, simply indicate that concern

13. ATTENTION
EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
We would like to collect pictures from all your years at St A. for your
graduation breakfast. Please send any pictures you would like to share
to school, marked with your name and phone # so we can return them to
you. And remember to take lots of pictures during this year so we can
include them also. We are looking for all kinds of events: scouts,
sports, school events, etc. Send them in an envelope marked "8th grade
pictures - Attention Diane Martini” through the school office or you can
e-mail them to me at rmartini2@cinci.rr.com. We will be collecting them
