1. ELDERS
SCHOLARS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
If you are going to be in 8th grade next year at the parish
school, you are eligible to compete for an ESAP Scholarship. ESAP,
formerly EDSAP, is the Elder Scholars Assistance Program – a
privately-funded grant program administrated by Elder High School. One
7th grade girl and one 7th grade boy will be
chosen from our school. Applications are available on the Elder
website:
www.elderhs.org. Once there,
click “Parents” on the top banner and then on the Parents page, click
“EDSAP” on the left side. Scholarship applications are due May 1,
2008. ESAP financial aid awards are available to families with students
entering the 5th-8th grade at the parish school
next year. Applications available April 1 on Elder’s website. See

PARISH
SPAGHETTI DINNER.
The PTO will be
organizing the Parish Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, May 17. This
is a wonderful opportunity to get involved. All parishioners are
invited to the Spaghetti Dinner. The PTO needs a chairperson for this
event and volunteers to help during the evening. Anyone interested in
volunteering for the Spaghetti Dinner, please contact Maria Allen at

EASTER
VIGIL. Father
Armstrong has asked the PTO to provide the refreshments after the
Easter Vigil. The
Easter Vigil mass is at 8:30
p.m. on Saturday, March 22. The refreshment area is in the greeting
room after mass. The PTO is looking for a few volunteers to help with
the refreshment area. Anyone interested in helping, please contact

PAMPHLET.
Included in the white envelope today is an updated copy of the 2007-08
PTO Pamphlet. The pamphlet provides the names of the chair people for
the PTO programs, services, and fundraisers. It also includes the dates
of the upcoming PTO meetings and information about your PTO. If you
have any questions or would like to volunteer for an event, please
contact any of the PTO Board members or the chairperson listed in the
pamphlet. Thank you.

DAY.
Just a reminder that our March pick-up will be Tuesday, March 18, from
7-8 p.m. in the school lunchroom. Thanks to all of our customers.

JOG-A-THON,
MONDAY, APRIL 28.
WE NEED YOUR
SUGGESTIONS! St. A’s 2nd Annual Jog-a-thon will be held
Monday, April 28. As you will recall, last year Mr. Corey had his head
shaved, thanks to the students and all their pledges that collected over
$20,000 for the PTO. We need a new incentive for this year, so if you
have any suggestions, please e-mail to

A FESTIVAL BID-N-BUY BOOTH.
We are now seeking
donations for the upcoming Bid -N- Buy Booth for this summer's
festival. We need: baskets (any shape & size), ribbon, shred/crinkle
paper and packing peanuts. We will be glad to "reuse" those baskets
purchased at last year's festival! If you would like to donate, or have

JAGUAR CUP.
New this year from the St. Antoninus Athletic Club and the soccer
program, a 3 v 3 soccer tournament to be held at Schott Field over the
weekend of July 25-27. Cost - $60 per team. Teams of six.
T-shirts included. Four games minimum. Trophies for champions and
finalists. Spots are limited so register early. For more information

SOCCER SIGN-UPS.
For boys and girls will be held on
Sunday, April 6, after 9:30 and 11:30
masses in the Youth Room in the
Undercroft. This is
the only sign up date we will have. Please mark your calendars
now! Attention parents of incoming first graders who are interested in
playing: child must be 6 years old by 7/31/08 in order to play SAY
soccer. If younger, see notice regarding lollipop soccer. Should you

ANTONINUS BOY SCOUT TROOP 614 - LENTEN FISH FRY.
Please come! Free yourself from cooking and socialize with your fellow
parishioners beginning on Ash Wednesday and every Friday in Lent.
Dinner is served between 5-7 p.m. in the Undercroft. Menu includes fish
sandwiches, grilled salmon, pizza, fries, macaroni and cheese, desserts
and more. New item this year is baked potatoes. Dine-In and Carryout
options are both available.

AND CLOTHING SALE.
Sellers needed for
the St. Antoninus Girl Scout Toy and Clothing Sale, Saturday, April 5,
2008, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Church Undercroft. Sellers should

The following items may be sold at the sale: baby/child/teen clothing,
school uniforms, maternity clothing, baby equipment (strollers, car
seats, etc.), toys, children’s videos and books, parenting books. More

15. ATTENTION
EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
We would like to collect pictures from all your years at St A. for your
graduation breakfast. Please send any pictures you would like to share
to school, marked with your name and phone # so we can return them to
you. And remember to take lots of pictures during this year so we can
include them also. We are looking for all kinds of events: scouts,
sports, school events, etc. Send them in an envelope marked "8th grade
pictures - Attention Diane Martini” through the school office or you can
