1. ST.
ANTONINUS PTO GENERAL MEETING.
You are invited to attend this school year's first PTO meeting! The
meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 26, in the Undercroft
at 7:00 p.m. for refreshments with the meeting beginning at 7:30
p.m. Come and meet other St. A parents and teachers, find out about
volunteer opportunities, and bring your ideas to share ... We are a
T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More)!
2.
CAMPBELLS
LABELS FOR EDUCATION AND TYSON PROJECT A+.
Please continue to clip UPC codes from all Campbell's products and the
red strip from Tyson frozen foods and lunchmeats. The Campbells UPC
codes are redeemed for school supplies, equipment, and other items for
our school. Last year we submitted more than 6,000 UPC codes, and
hopefully this year we'll do even better. Each Tyson product strip is
worth 24¢, all of which goes toward educating our children. We earned
approximately $140 from a few people clipping strips and turning them
into school. Let's try to expand participation and earn even more
money. Keep up the good work and thank you for your support of these
two PTO programs!
3.
SPIRITWEAR
NEWS.
The gym uniform t-shirts and uniform sweatshirts have arrived and are
being sent home this week if you prepaid your order. If you still need
to pay, please stop by the Spiritwear Room on Friday night,
September 28th between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. to pick up and pay for
your order. No after school hours on Friday, September 28th! A
reminder: the gym uniform shorts are on back order due to a problem
with the manufacturer. This is a problem for many schools in our area.
Mr. Eckstein and Mr. Corey are fully aware of the situation and have
made the necessary accommodations with respect to the gym uniform. All
students in grades 4 through 8 should wear their gym t-shirts in gym
class beginning the week of September 27th since they are now available.
All students: please enter the Official St. A Spiritwear T-shirt
Contest. Details in this white envelope!

SCRIP
IS BACK! WHAT IS SCRIP?:
The SCRIP program allows you to easily buy gift cards from numerous
retailers while helping the St. Antoninus PTO raise money. It does not
cost you any extra money and it takes very little of your time. You
also save shopping time, traffic hassles, and gas costs when purchasing
gift cards for birthdays and during the Holidays. Additionally, you
can use the gift cards for yourself to pay for things that you do every
day. For example, if you go to the same restaurants, the same stores,
and the same gas stations every week, you can use these gift cards to
pay for those shopping trips and meals. All you have to do is plan
ahead to order the gift cards from us at least 1 and 1/2 weeks before
you intend to use them. Then use the cards to pay for your purchases.
Each time you use the program, you are allowing St. Antoninus to receive
approximately 5% cash back from your everyday purchases. We get the
cash back from the SCRIP provider who buys large sums of gift cards from
the 100's of retailers who participate in the Program.
If you have not used
SCRIP before, we are asking you to try it now. Each time you purchase
gift cards through the SCRIP program, it allows the PTO to earn cash
back, which in turn helps keep the tuition down here at St. Antoninus.
Everyone wins!
We will take orders
every other Wednesday. This Wednesday is an order day, and an Order
form is enclosed. Completed forms and checks are due to the school
office by Wednesday at 9 am and your orders will be sent home by the
following Friday. Remember we always have $10 Skyline Gift Cards on
hand. Call us anytime!
