What is SCRIP?
The SCRIP program is like a 1 stop
shopping place for all of your gift card orders. You can use the
gift cards yourself, as well as to give them to someone for a
Birthday or Christmas gift; they spend just like cash.
SCRIP is a company located in Michigan
who buys very large amounts of gift cards from all the companies on
the participating retailers list. They then sell them to non-profit
organizations, like our PTO, for a discount. That means, you buy a
$25 card, and you get a $25 card, but SCRIP only charges St.
Antoninus $20 for that card. We get to keep the other $5 as a
fundraiser for our school. This and the magazine drive and all the
other fundraisers help keep our tuition down year after year.
Do you shop at Walgreen’s? CVS?
Dillard’s? Sears? GAP? Old Navy? Kohl's? Bath & Body Works? or
Kroger's? on a regular basis?
Do you stop at Marathon? BP?
Mobile/Exxon (UDF)?, Speedway? or Kroger's? regularly for gas?
Do you eat at Arby’s? Bob Evans?
Chipolte Grill? Longhorn Steakhouse? O’Charleys? Panera Bread? Pizza
Hut? Friday’s? or Wendy’s?
If you could earn $50 free at any one
of these retailers AND St. Antoninus could earn 6% cash back on all

To do this and get the benefits I just
mentioned, all you have to do is plan ahead and order gift
certificates through our SCRIP program 1 and 1/2 weeks in advance of
going to any of the places I just mentioned plus 100’s of other
locations.
Please talk up the program to your
kids grandparents and your co-workers. It’s a great way to earn more
money for St. Antoninus and help people get their shopping done
quickly and easily.
Again, the SCRIP program allows you to
buy gift cards to numerous retailers from our school. The benefits
are no gas costs or traffic hassles for you and the St. Antoninus
PTO gets to keep a percentage from the supplier. The percentage is
6% on average, some are as high as 17%, others are lower.
To participate, all you have to do is
fill out the order form that comes home in the white envelope on
Mondays and write a check payable to St. Antoninus PTO. Then send
them to school with your child. Your child’s teacher will collect
the order forms and send them to the school office. Your completed
order forms and checks are due to the office by Wednesday at 9 am
and your orders will be sent home by the following Friday. Orders
will be taken every other week until the November at which time we
will begin taking weekly orders to get ready for the Holidays.

We are offering as BACK TO SCHOOL
SPECIALS!! (1st) All families with orders over $50.00 in August &
September will be eligible for a drawing for your choice of a $10.00
Skyline Gift Card or cash back. (2nd) The ONGOING AWARD: The family
with the most orders for the upcoming school year will receive a
gift card. They will receive a $50 GC to a retailer of their choice.
And (3rd) We are giving away a complimentary $1.00 value refillable
Kroger Gift Card to every family in the school.
All you have to do is take the card
with you to Kroger. Fill up your basket, and once you get to the
register, ask the cashier to “recharge” your gift card via your
credit card or check BEFORE he or she begins ringing up your
groceries. Then, use the gift card to pay for your purchases, and
Kroger will give cash back to St. Antoninus. Kroger has the serial
number on the back of your gift card registered as a St. Antoninus
card, and their system automatically sends the cash back to the
school.
And remember, you can use the card to
pay for gas at Kroger too and get a 10 cent discount on your gas.
